The Southeast Side of Tucson lies between Davis Monthan AFB, from Wilmot Rd, the I-10 freeway to the south and Golf Links Rd to the north through to the Saguaro National Forest.

The main emplyoyment centers in the area are Davis Monthan & the University of Arizona Science & Technology Park, including Raytheon.

Several new residential communities have been built with many more on the way, as well as many older & more established neighborhoods.

One of the more interesting communities is Civanohborhood, where most of the building components were made from recycled material, encouraged use of solar technology and "gray water" use for irrigation.
